    Information

Nothing today is more in vogue than healthy and aware eating. Well-oriented kitchen is perfect for those who want to stay active and fit. The pressure cooker in this sense has all the necessary qualities, combining healthy eating with a healthy cooking. In this manner even with little time you can take advantage of fresh food and cook them in a healthy and tasty way.

    Why is pressure cooking healthier?

Because foods are cooked without harmful oxygen and quickly, vitamins, minerals and other nutritional and aromatic substances are preserved better. With the soft method of cooking you can cook in a particularly delicate way, perfectly suited to the most sensitive foods such as vegetables. The quick cooking mode is conceived for foods requiring longer cooking, such as meat, soups and stews.

    How does pressure cooking work?

A closed cooker, with some liquid inside, generates steam. Thanks to the Fissler Euromatic oxygen escapes, which would be harmful to food. After releasing air, Euromatic closes again at the right time. The temperature rises in the pot and creates an overpressure which will move the cooking indicator. From now on the heating supply should be lowered. The cooking temperature matches the chosen cooking method (109 ° C for the sensitive and 116 ° C for the fast).

How much time can be saved?

As a general rule, divide the normal cooking time by 3 and then eg. instead of 30 minutes you will cook for 10 minutes.

How much energy can be saved?

    Up to 50%.

What could be cooked in the pressure cooker?

Soups, meat, fish, venision, stew, vegetables, rice, potatoes.

Which ways of cooking are possible?

    Roasting, stewing and steaming.

    Why is pressure cooking safe?

Every Fissler pressure cooker offers a high standard of safety: The pressure inside the pot is reduced with the help of the automatic evaporation device. When the pressure is too high, the pot lets the steam escape automatically. Through the discharge valve, the pressure may be reduced at any time. Due to the resdual pressure stop device, the opening of the pot is only possible when the internal side is completely free of pressure.
