With professionalism and style as its watchwords, KitchenAid remains unmatched when it comes to quality and performance. The brand’s continuing - and unique - ability to combine beauty with the latest innovations in technology make it, still, the most coveted range of kitchen appliances in the world.

In 1908 Hebert Johnston carefully observed a baker mix bread dough with a heavy iron spoon. This Ohio-based engineer then sat down and put his skills to work, developing what eventually became the first commercial mixer that will transform the baker’s backbreaking, laborious art. After considerable effort, Johnston succeeds in bringing to the market his first mixer with 75-litre capacity. Whilst testing it, one of the company directors unknowingly invented the brands name exclaiming ‘I don’t care what you call it, it’s the best kitchen aid I’ve ever had.” And the name KitchenAid was born.

7 years later, established bakery chains began investing in this new machine.

Always looking towards the future, the KitchenAid® Artisan® Collection now includes a blender, toaster, espresso maker and burr grinder, food processor and waffle baker. Perhaps the most exciting development, though, is the launch of premium, built-in major domestic appliances.
