    Boning knives

    The boning knife is used primarily for meat or poultry. For very bony meat the cook needs a boning knife in order to better cut off the meat from the bones. The blade of the boning knife is narrow, short shaped and marked in order to run it optimally. It is tapered and quite easy in order to work accurately toward the bone and not to damage the meat. Also tendons and fat can be optimally removed with a boning knife.
