    Kitchen cleavers

    The Deba is a traditionally one-side polished Japanese kitchen knife with a broad blade back. It is ideal for cutting, scaling and filleting fish, but can also be used for poultry. With the single-edged blade, you can run well the most straight and vertical cuts. But it should not be used for chopping meat or poultry: the sensitive blade could be damaged. For this application we recommend rather the European cleavers, best suited for chopping meat, poultry or vegetables.
